We Know Everything is Energy, But What Does That Mean?

Everything in the world is made up of energy, but when you stop to think about it, what does that really mean?

You might have heard someone say once that everything is energy. You might have thought, that’s cool, but then never really gave it more thought than that.

But do you actually know what it means when we say everything is energy? The answer is pretty freaking awesome.

In 1879, a little dude was born who would one day grow up and change the world. That guy’s name was Albert Einstein, and he, as we all know, was a certified genius.

Einstein once said, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

He proved that this really was no philosophy with his formula E=MC².

Why is everything energy?

The formula, E=MC² is the most famous mathematical formula in the world. But do you know what it really means?

The mathematical abbreviation translates to, “Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared.” And, in layman’s terms, this means, energy and mass (aka, matter) are interchangeable.

Let’s talk about science, baby!

Did you know we can actually see that everything is energy?!

When you take a physical object, any physical object, and observe it under a microscope, you will see vibrating atoms.

If you break it down even further, you’ll see the electrons and a nucleus, which is made up of protons and neutrons. The distance between these particles is so vast that it appears atoms are made up of 99.999999—% empty space.

This empty space is actually energy. Thus, we can see that Einstein is correct and everything is made of energy.

Energy is pure potential, which means you are pure potential

Through studying quantum physics, we learned that all matter is made up of pure potential.

The two-slit experiment

In 1803, physicist Thomas Young conducted the two-slit experiment. This experiment is insane. I strongly recommend checking out this video to explain it, cuz it will totally blow your mind.

Basically, what the two-slit experiment proved was that atoms (the stuff that makes up all matter) are pure potential, and it isn’t until an observer is present that a reality is chosen.

So, what this means is, atoms exist in infinite possibilities and without awareness, everything is simply a possibility.

Your awareness is what decides your reality.

How can we use everything is energy to our advantage?

Ok, so we know that everything is energy. We understand that this is a scientific fact. And we get that energy equals pure potential. But, how exactly can we use this knowledge to our advantage?

To answer that, we need to look at the second part of Einstein’s quote:

“Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.”

It’s as simple as that. If you learn to match the frequency of the reality you desire, then you will manifest the reality you desire.

So, what is frequency?

If you look at that microscope again you will notice that the molecules that make up the atom aren’t sitting still, they’re actually vibrating. All things in our universe are constantly in motion, creating vibrations at different frequencies.

Frequency is the rate at which something vibrates, and it is measured by the waves the vibration creates.

Everything has a frequency. You have a frequency. I have a frequency. Your dog has a frequency. The dream reality you wish to create has a frequency.

In a nutshell, manifestation is simply matching your frequency with the frequency of the things you want.

How to raise your frequency

The best way to measure your personal frequency is by tapping into your emotions. Emotions like joy, gratitude, and peace are considered high vibrational frequencies. Fear, anger, and jealousy are examples of low vibrational frequencies.

So, when Einstein says, Match the frequency of the reality you want,” one way to do that is to tap into the emotions you’d feel in that reality.

Most likely, you aren’t desiring a low vibrational reality. I’m betting you don’t want to manifest more pain or anger into your life. So, you’re gonna want to tap into high vibrational frequencies.

To do that, you need to raise your frequency to higher than it currently is.

Gratitude games

There are many ways to raise your frequency, but one of my favorites is playing gratitude games. Because gratitude is a high-vibration emotion, and there is always something to be grateful for, gratitude is one of the easiest ways to raise your frequency.

Try going on a gratitude rampage. Say out loud or write down as many things as you can think of that you are grateful for. Challenge yourself to think of 10, then 20, then 30. See if you can name 100 things, big and small, that you are grateful to have in your life.

Another game I like to play with my husband is creating gratitude lists. I’ll start off by telling him five things I’m grateful for, and then he tells me five things. Then we go back and forth a few times until we decide to move on. Having someone to practice gratitude with is an awesome vibrational booster because not only are you raising your frequency but you’re raising theirs as well.

How knowing everything is energy will help you manifest your dreams

Like attracts like

The law of attraction states that like attracts like. So, by the terms of the laws of the universe, your frequency will attract things vibrating on a similar level.

Have you ever noticed how when you have a bad day, more bad things keep happening until you finally snap out of your bad mood? That’s the law of attraction in action.

Vice versa, when you have a good day, more good things will keep happening to you. Maybe you’ll manifest a free cup of coffee, or a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while will text you to catch up. That’s because you were vibrating at a certain frequency that allowed for those things to happen.

By tapping into the frequency of your desires, you will open up a path for those things to come into your life.

A word of warning…

Don’t take this blog to mean that you have to constantly be vibrating at a high frequency. We are all humans enjoying a human experience, and that means we’re here to experience the full spectrum of emotions. There is such a thing as toxic positivity.

So, allow yourself to feel all the feels. If you have a bad day, it is okay to feel sad or mad. You are totally valid in what you’re feeling.

The key is to be introspective. Allow yourself to feel what you’re feeling, but also ask yourself why you feel those things. Find the balance between feeling those emotions in the moment and knowing when you’ve gone too far. There’s a difference between feeling hurt versus going down a never-ending rabbit hole of anger and pain.

And, when it comes to your dreams, pay attention to your thoughts. Focus on thoughts that promote high vibrational energy, that encourage you to go after your goals. Identify your fears and doubts and learn how to let them go. When you vibrate at a frequency of knowing you will succeed, your success becomes inevitable. That is the power of positivity.
