5 Gratitude Rituals That Will Help Raise Your Vibration

Gratitude is a great way to raise your vibrational frequency. These five gratitude rituals are easy ways to incorporate a daily gratitude practice into your life.

Have you ever walked into a cool restaurant and said, “Man, I love the vibe in here.”? Or met up with someone who had a bad day and wasn’t handling it very well and you could feel their energy bringing you down?

Albert Einstein said, “Everything in life is vibration.” What he meant was that everything in life is energy. That means you and I are both energy, too,. We can control how high and low our vibrations are through our emotions. You can intuitively tell when someone is vibrating at a higher frequency because their happiness seems to rub off on the world around them.

When we tap into emotions like joy, love, happiness, and gratitude, we automatically raise our vibration. And, in the world of manifestation, higher vibes are where the magic happens. So not only does raising your vibration help to improve your mood, but it will also help you to attract your dream life. That’s why adding a gratitude ritual to your daily practice is a great idea.

Why do people practice gratitude rituals?

There are a ton of reasons why people might practice gratitude. Here are a few of them:

  • Studies have shown that having a daily practice of gratitude increases mood and improves health
  • Gratitude reduces stress, increases happiness, and helps you to live in the moment.
  • Including gratitude rituals in your daily practice can also improve your relationships with friends and family.
  • Practicing gratitude regularly can also help you become a better manifestor because gratitude raises your vibration.

How do you create a gratitude ritual?

Creating a gratitude ritual is as simple as committing to practice gratitude on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter what your gratitude ritual looks like as long as you are feeling deep, authentic appreciation for the things in your life.

You can choose to practice gratitude at a certain time of day by including it in your morning or evening routine. Or, you might choose to practice gratitude throughout the day as a way to help you live in the present moment.

It doesn’t matter which type of gratitude ritual you choose or if you decide to use a combination of the rituals listed below. All that matters is that you take a few moments out of your day to appreciate the things you are grateful for. Those few moments every day then becomes your gratitude ritual.

How do gratitude rituals help with manifestation?

Manifestation is the phenomenon that occurs when something that you envisioned in your mind becomes a part of your physical reality. You manifest something when you take action towards your goals, but also allow for the universe to do its part in the co-creation process.

Having a high vibration helps with manifestation because when you’re vibing high, you are also in alignment with your desires. Through the law of attraction, like must attract like. When you’re feeling gratitude and deep appreciation for your life, the universe has to give you more things to feel grateful for. However, if you’re feeling like you’re lacking something, the universe has no choice but to give you more things to feel upset about.

Feeling gratitude also helps diminish these feelings of lack that come up when we don’t have the things we desire yet. Studies have proven that gratitude can shift your emotions. Not only does it help you feel more satisfied with life, but it also lifts feelings of stress and depression. Gratitude will put you in alignment with the version of yourself that you want to become.

If nothing else, practicing gratitude regularly will help shift your mood to a more positive default. This means by practicing a daily gratitude ritual, you will be a happier person.

5 Gratitude Rituals to Help Raise Your Vibration

Start a gratitude journal

One of my favorite gratitude rituals is to create a habit of journaling about what you’re grateful for. This can look many different ways. You can keep a gratitude journal like this one that has prompts to help you with your gratitude practice. This gratitude journal is easy to incorporate as part of your morning and evening routines.

You can also free write about the things you are grateful for in a blank journal. My favorite way to journal about gratitude is to write down things that I am grateful for that I both already have and the things that I am working on accomplishing, even if I haven’t gotten there just yet. Because I know that I will accomplish my goals, being grateful for them now helps give me the strength to continue going after what I want.

Incorporate a gratitude rampage

Gratitude rampages are a really fun gratitude ritual to incorporate into your life. You can do this alone or with a friend.

In a gratitude rampage, speed is your strategy. The goal is to name as many things that you can think of as quickly as possible. You can set a timer for one minute or just keep naming things until you can’t think of them anymore.

If you’re doing a rampage with a friend, you can go back and forth thinking of as many things as you both can think of that you’re grateful for until you run out of ideas.

My husband and I do this together all the time and it’s a great way to get us in a higher vibrational mood. I personally love starting with the underrated things like running water and electricity and building up to the bigger things like how I’m married to my soulmate and have my dream career.

Use a guided gratitude meditation or hypnosis

I love incorporating gratitude meditations or hypnosis as a part of my gratitude rituals, especially on low-energy days. If I feel a lot of resistance to practicing a gratitude ritual, sometimes it is so much easier to pull a meditation up on YouTube than it is to pull out my journal and write.

The cool thing about meditations and hypnosis is that they will put your brain in an alpha state. This not only helps you feel calmer and less stressed but also aids in manifestation! When you’re in an alpha state, you are creating a bridge between your conscious and subconscious mind and you become more aligned with your desires.

Find a gratitude accountability partner

Practicing gratitude doesn’t have to be a solitary exercise. Practicing gratitude with an accountability partner is a great way to grow closer to your friends and family.

You might want to create a gratitude ritual through a gratitude challenge. I’m currently doing a gratitude challenge with my mom and it has definitely brought us closer together. Our challenge is to call each other every evening and tell each other ten things that we’re grateful for. We’re doing this for ten days in a row. This way, by the end of the ten days, we will have a list of 100 new things that we are both grateful for.

Another gratitude ritual you can do with a partner is daily gratitude check-ins. I’ve done this with friends in the past where we will text each other once a day and tell each other at least one thing we’re grateful for that happened that day.

Create a gratitude jar

The last gratitude ritual that will help raise your vibration (at least for this article) is to create a gratitude jar.

To do this, you will need a jar, a pen, and paper. Every day, write down one thing that you’re grateful for on a piece of paper, fold it up, and put it in the jar. My husband and I both write down one thing a day and we save the papers in the jar until the end of the year. Then, on New Year’s Eve, I like to open the jar and read them with my husband while we snuggle on the couch. This way, we have a combined 730 things or more that we were grateful for throughout the year that we can reflect on.

There are so many ways that you can practice gratitude. These five ways are just some of the gratitude rituals that I incorporate in my life to help me raise my vibration. A gratitude practice is very personal and will look different for everybody and there is no right or wrong way to practice gratitude. I hope these five gratitude rituals helped inspire you on what type of gratitude ritual you want to incorporate into your life!
