Attraction passes are one way to help cut the cost of your trip. They allow you to book the most popular attractions at a discounted rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n There are different types of New York City attraction passes. We\u2019ll go over each in detail in a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With a New York City attraction pass, you choose between a number-of-days pass or a number-of-attraction pass<\/strong>. Meaning you either choose how many days you want the pass to cover or the specific attractions you want available on the pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you choose your pass, you will receive an email with a link that allows you to download the pass straight to your phone. Alternatively, some passes can mail you your ticket for an extra fee or hold it for your to pick up in person in NYC. But if you have a smartphone, the most convenient way to access your pass will be straight from your cellphone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n After you purchase your pass, there will be a set amount of time when you can activate the pass before it expires.<\/strong> Usually, this is about 24 months after the date of purchase. The price of the pass adjusts for each new attraction that you add. The pass is activated when you visit your first attraction<\/strong>. You can choose up to 12 attractions out of 100+ options. And you have up to 60 days to visit all the attractions you chose. Because of the flexibility, this pass is excellent for locals or people who have been to NYC before.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Just like the New York Pass, the New York Sightseeing Pass offers more than 100+ attractions. It’s the same whether you go with the FLEX or DAY pass. This means that any of the most popular excursions will be included with this pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes! Both the New York Sightseeing FLEX and DAY Passes include options for five different hop-on, hop-off tours<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The New York Sightseeing DAY Pass starts at $144 for a one-day pass for an adult and goes up to $369 for a 10-day pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The New York Sightseeing FLEX Pass starts at $74 for two attractions and tops at $284 for the 12 attraction option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just like the New York Pass, the New York Sightseeing DAY Pass starts with you picking the number of consecutive days (up to 10) you want the pass to be active for. Once you\u2019ve decided how long you will be exploring the town and purchased your plan, the pass will download to your phone and won\u2019t become active until you scan it at the first attraction you visit. After that, you can visit unlimited attractions a day until your pass expires on the day you selected for it to end.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Just like the New York CityPASS, the New York Sightseeing FLEX Pass is an attraction-based pass. However, unlike the CityPASS, the FLEX Pass has more than 100 attractions to choose from. And you don\u2019t have to pick and choose between two options. With the FLEX Pass, you can pick up to twelve attractions to visit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Like the DAY pass, the FLEX pass activates when you scan it at the first attraction you visit. However, with the FLEX pass, you have up to 60 days to visit all the attractions you chose to include.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The New York Sightseeing Pass requires you to purchase the company\u2019s insurance in order to get a refund on unused passes. Insurance costs 4% of your total order. The Explorer Pass is Go City\u2019s version of an attraction pass. And the All-Inclusive is their version of a day pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Just like the Sightseeing FLEX Pass, with the Go City Explorer Pass, you choose the attractions you want to visit ahead of time.
